Betsy Price was never shy about her love for bicycling and being outdoors, incorporating these hobbies in "rolling" and "walking" town hall meetings throughout her time as mayor of Fort Worth. Now that her term is coming to a close, Price will be hosting her final series of town halls throughout the month of April — aptly named the "Goodbye-cycle Tour."
Supported by Comerica Bank and FitWorth, town halls will take place Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. Residents will get a chance to ride or walk alongside the mayor and share ideas, learn about what's happening in city government, and explore Fort Worth.
According to the city, masks will be "encouraged to be worn before and after the ride and any time people are gathered."
The schedule and locations are as follows:
- April 7. Foster Park/Overton Park, 3725 South Drive
- April 14. Rosemont Park, 1400 W. Seminary Drive
- April 21. Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge, 9601 Fossil Ridge Road
- April 28. Trinity Park, 1639 Old University Drive
