Texas Wesleyan University has appointed Lauren Findley as its new vice president of enrollment management, the university announced.
Findley will oversee enrollment strategy, admissions processes, recruitment initiatives, marketing, and communications. She brings more than a decade of experience in higher education enrollment and admissions, most recently serving as director of undergraduate admissions and recruitment at Jacksonville State University. Under her leadership, the university saw its largest incoming classes in history over the past four years.
“I am thrilled to welcome Lauren to the Texas Wesleyan RAMily,” Texas Wesleyan President Emily Messer said. “Her proven ability to drive enrollment growth and her collaborative leadership style make her the ideal person to lead our enrollment efforts as we continue to build on our momentum and expand the opportunities available to our students.”
Jacksonville State University, which has an enrollment of more than 9,900 students, continues to experience growth, a success Wesleyan attributes in part to Findley’s leadership.
Findley said she is eager to begin her new role at Texas Wesleyan.
“I am excited to join Texas Wesleyan University and to work with such a dedicated team,” she said. “I look forward to collaborating with faculty, staff and students to develop strategies that will attract and retain the next generation of Ram students. Together, we will continue to build a strong, inclusive and forward-thinking enrollment environment.”
Findley earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Auburn University and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Jacksonville State University.
