In honor of those on the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s air demonstration team that are often the star attraction at Fort Worth’s Alliance Air Show, will perform a flyover of the metroplex Wednesday morning.
The event, which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., will take 35 minutes, and the route includes a tight circle over downtown and passes over Lake Worth, Arlington, and Keller (see below for map).

The flyover will begin over McKinney and make its way through Dallas before heading west for Fort Worth, so we recommend being outside, masks on, and cameras in hand by 11:15.
The flyover is part of a nationwide tour — called America Strong — that saw the Blue Angels perform over Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Atlanta last Saturday.
“America Strong is a way for [us] to show appreciation to the thousands of doctors, nurses, first responders, and essential workers out there serving on the frontline day-in and day-out,” Cmdr. Brian Kesselring, U.S. Navy Blue Angels commanding officer, said in a statement.
“This is an extraordinary and unprecedented time, but we will get through this," he said. "We are all in this together.”
