The Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial serves as one of Fort Worth’s favorite spring attractions. This year’s features such as the Frost Park Concert Series, Colonial Main Street and sponsor fan lounges are few of the many options to pique the interest of golf fans and socialites alike.
The Frost Park Concert series, hosted by Michelob Ultra, will feature Texas Red Dirt Radio with Justin Frazell. Big-name acts to perform later in the week include Hudson Moore, Kyle Park, Uncle Lucius and many more. Fans can prop their feet up at the end of a busy day on the course to enjoy country music alongside the on-site food trucks and Michelob Ultra bar. Parking and admission to the concert series are free to the public.
Colonial Main Street is a new attraction to the tournament scene this year, and there's a little something for everyone. The row includes product sampling for shoppers, Nike and Geico sponsored golf simulations for gamers and an opportunity to plan a golf trip abroad for travelers. The Crowne Plaza Grille, along with other venues, will be available for fans to relax over cold beverages and comfort food.
Fans can beat the heat and pop into the various fan lounges offered by tournament sponsors including Cadillac, Tempur-Pedic and Club Ketel. Savor a taste of comfort with a cigar in hand at the Cadillac Luxury Lounge, which will offer patio seating and whiskey tastings for fans. Club Ketel will be located near the infamous 13th hole, where fans can enjoy a cocktail in an air-conditioned lounge. For fans wanting to get off their feet, Tempur-Pedic will be introducing their new TEMPUR-Flex collection for fans to experience.
This is the first year the tournament will pair up with Uber to offer fans a more convenient transportation option to and from the tournament. Fans can get up-to-the-minute parking information, tee times and more using their Crowne Plaza Invitational mobile app.
