Sure, free food and booze are great motivators to get outside, but if you don't want the pounds, try these free outdoor fitness classes and programs instead. These workouts will not only let you soak up some Vitamin D but may also lead to muscle gain and weight loss. And hey, after you hit up a few of these, who's to stop you from enjoying an afternoon beer (or two)?
Sundance Square Zumba and Yoga
Who: All yogis and Zumba fans of any level
What: A free yoga class or Zumba class. The two workouts alternate each week.
When: Saturdays at 8:30 a.m., starting May 13 with yoga

Wine Down at Waterside
Who: Yogis of all levels
What: A yoga class taught by The Sanctuary Yoga Room, followed by $1 off wine by the glass at Whole Foods Market Bar or Taco Diner.
When: Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in April and May

The Trailhead at Clearfork
Who: Anyone of any athletic level
What: There are a variety of free workouts offered here, from the enduraLAB Social Run and Walk, LeanFit Class, and more.

Downtown Fort Worth Walking Tours
Who: Anyone who wants to walk while learning about the history and architecture of Fort Worth.
What: A walking tour led by a local historian and sponsored by Tim D. Young, a broker and owner of Fort Worth Texas Real Estate. Arrive a few minutes early for a free breakfast burrito.
When: The second Saturday of the month at 9 a.m.
Where: The tour starts outside the T&P building
Social Running Club's Free Run
Who: Runners of all paces (RSVP for the run)
What: A 4-mile run.
When: Wednesdays 7 p.m.
Where: The run starts at the Clearfork Food Park.
Town Halls For All
Who: Any Fort Worthian who wants to bike or walk around Fort Worth while expressing their ideas for the city to Mayor Betsy Price.
What: The Rolling Town Hall is an easy-paced, 45-minute bike ride on a pre-planned route where participants can share their ideas with the mayor and other council members while riding. Similarly, the Walking Town Hall is a brisk mile to mile-and-a-half walk that allows participants to learn about the city while interacting with government leaders.
