He has won three Grammys and sold over 2 million albums. Now, singer-songwriter Pat Green is joining forces with two other artists to open up a gallery.
Green is partnering with Ginger Walker and Cheryl Hodge to bring a new gallery, titled Galleywinter Gallery by Pat Green, to 3525 Lovell Ave.
Walker is known for her paintings, characterized by a bright and bold, yet ethereal aesthetic. Hodge expresses vibrancy and depth in her sculptures and paintings.
Green is known for his music, but came to the visual arts later in his life, particularly painting and sculpting.
“For the last 20 years, my job has been to express my emotions,” Green said in a statement. “With sculpting, I can make anything I want, and I can translate the emotions right out of my head into the metal.”
While all three artists will present their work at the gallery, other artists will be allowed to display work as well.
The gallery is open by appointment and will be celebrating its grand opening May 3.
