New tenants, buildings and murals are popping up at The Foundry District — with more to come soon. Here’s what to look out for.
New Tenants
The Grand Berry Theater
Once open, The Grand Berry Theater will be Fort Worth’s only single-screen art house cinema and event space. The 50-seat theater will feature indie, local and art house films. Tickets will be $7, and screenings will primarily take place at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The theater is set to open June 1.

GL Seaman & Company
GL Seaman & Company is one of the largest commercial furnishings dealers in the southwest, and construction has begun on the 7,700-square-foot office and showroom. The female-owned business will be the largest Knoll dealer in North Texas and the fifth largest in North America.

Thirty-Eight & Vine
Owned by local couple Jennifer and Sam Demel — a retired MLB player whose jersey number was 38 — Thirty-Eight & Vine, opening summer 2019, will offer a wine tasting room experience. It will feature nearly 50 wines on tap with self-serve pours as well as bottles for purchase.

Blackland Distillery
Blackland Distillery, founded by Fort Worth native Markus Kypereos, is an upscale cocktail lounge and tasting room, serving handcrafted cocktails made with Blackland’s own small-batch vodka, bourbon gin and rye whiskey. The distillery opened March 20.

PowerFit FTW
A boutique gym that opened April 6, PowerFit FTW features 27-minute workouts led by certified trainers using PowerPlate machines. These machines use vibration technology to contract muscles and provide various health benefits.

Other News
Developer M2G Ventures recently acquired two adjacent buildings in The Foundry District, located at 2623 White Settlement Road and 2628 Whitmore St., hiring local architecture firm 97W to renovate the spaces. They envision the spaces as creative offices, a design showroom and a small bar and/or restaurant. The buildings will be available for lease in July.
Additionally, Inspiration Alley now features two new murals: “Cocteau Cereal” by Adam Palmer and “Fire Spinner” by Dylan Kennedy, both Fort Worth artists.
