The site is now known as General Worth Square and was carefully designed around an 8-foot bronze sculpture of John F. Kennedy created by Lawrence Ludtke.
Surrounding the sculpture is an elegant, 2,000-square-foot granite plaza with large photographic panels and selected quotes from a number of historic speeches. The JFK tribute is complemented by a water wall and tranquil landscaping.
More than a decade of work involving a partnership between Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc. and Shirlee J. and Taylor Gandy made this amazing addition to Fort Worth possible.
