The clubs are set, the golf balls are loaded and Topgolf is ready to open its first Fort Worth location on May 5.
But before opening to the public, Topgolf let its corporate partners, city officials (including Mayor Betsy Price) and the media in a little early on Tuesday to get a preview of the 65,000-square-foot venue, which includes 102 climate-controlled hitting bays, a full-service restaurant and two bars, along with more than 200 high-definition TVs and free WiFi. The facility also has private event and meeting space, as well as a rooftop patio with a view of downtown.
Located at 2201 East Fourth St., this is Topgolf's 32nd location. Topgolf players hit microchipped golf balls into targets and earn points based on the shot's accuracy and distance.
