Kyle has been building swimming pools for families around the DFW area since 2006 and has become one of the leading custom pool builders in the nation. Despite the success, Emerald remains a family-run small business without the corporate world influence. Many employees have even brought in family members to join the team. In a recent survey covering pay, work environment, and stress level, they received a 99% employee satisfaction rating across the board, making the company one of the top-ranked employers in the region.

Emerald was recently named one of Pool & Spa News Top 50 builders in the nation, as well as being awarded with the Pebble Technology's World’s Greatest Pools award three years running. Kyle and Stephanie saw the need to provide a product that brings an avenue for happiness in a world that can often focus on the negative. Kyle had spent 20 years in the fire service and Stephanie over 15 years in pediatric medicine while raising four children. They know a bit about the importance of family time. The goal was to create a business environment that would not only provide their customers a unique construction experience, but also provide their employees a better quality of life as well.
After spending the first half of his life dedicated to the public in the fire department, Kyle has created one of the fastest growing and highest-rated pool companies in DFW. His vision of changing the way construction is done was brought to life while proving there can be integrity in the contracting business.
Typically, as fire and water do not mix, neither does customer satisfaction and construction. Emerald is dedicated to changing this stigma and strives to create a family-friendly immersive experience while they build your backyard oasis. More recently, Emerald Pool Care was created to provide their customers with better pool care education, provide quicker warranty resolution, and provide an affordable service option.
