The Crescent
The 2024 Lone Star Film Festival will include a distinctive cultural ambiance this year as The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth will be the central hospitality hub for the annual event, the two announced on Tuesday.
As part of the arrangement, The Crescent is offering special room blocks and an exclusive package for festival attendees, including a complimentary All-Access Film Pass to screenings at the Modern Museum and The Kimbell Museum with a reservation for two or more nights.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Lone Star Film Festival and celebrate its debut in the Cultural District,” said Roberto van Geenen, general manager of The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth, in a statement. “The collaboration provides a unique opportunity for us to showcase our commitment to the arts while offering guests a luxurious and immersive experience during one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events.”
The festival, which runs Nov. 1-4, is making its debut in the Cultural District, a seemingly perfect backdrop for the event. Its landmarks include The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Kimbell Art Museum, and Amon Carter museums, all within walking distance of The Crescent.
In and of itself, the hotel, too, is an instrument of art. Its art collection was curated by John Runyon of Runyon Arts.
The hotel, the first luxury property in the Cultural District, showcases The Circle Bar as a lounge space, Emilia’s for dining, and The Blue Room for exclusive fine dining.
