UWTC
Beverly Delaney - 1
The United Way of Tarrant County (UWTC) just announced the promotion of Beverly Delaney to the role of director of corporate relations, via a press release.
Delaney, who’s been with the UWTC since 2023 as its senior corporate relations manager, will now oversee and lead efforts to enhance relationship management, employee engagement in workplace campaigns, and fundraising programs that support UWTC.
Since she started working at the UWTC, Delaney has collaborated with various companies and their employees and brings more than 20 years of sales and business experience to this role.
The UWTC is a nonprofit that helps residents overcome challenges by offering education, financial stability and health resources as well as respond to people in times of crisis. This over 100-year-old institution has helped nearly 400,000 people annually with its resources. However, in times of need the resources sometimes need to find the benefactor, this is where Delaney fits into this scenario.
“Beverly brings visible excitement and passion to her work and is focused on bringing value to companies and their associates as they contribute to making our community better,” says Doug Yeiser, interim chief development officer. “Beverly helps companies demonstrate the kind of community commitment that increases employee and customer satisfaction and makes Tarrant County a great place to live and work.”
Delaney’s resume includes her roles in management positions at the American Heart Association, Vitas Healthcare and Texas Health Huguley. Delaney has a Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism from the University of North Texas.
“My goal is to effectively lead the corporate development team to successfully achieve our fundraising targets,” Delaney says. “My hope is that our new and existing corporate sponsors see the life-changing impact their financial contributions make in the lives of local residents who need it most.”
