LeAnn Rimes
Rimes, 36, has enjoyed a career decorated with numerous accolades.
Fans of free shows and Grammy Award-winning artists are in luck come mid-August.
LeAnn Rimes will headline United Way of Tarrant County’s “A Night to Live United” show. The complimentary concert kicks off the 2019-2020 fundraising campaign. It gets going at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at the heart of downtown in Sundance Square. It’s enough to make TD Smyers giddy, the president and CEO of United Way of Tarrant County, who says the nonprofit is “jazzed” to have Rimes at the show.
Rimes, 36, has enjoyed a career decorated with numerous accolades, one that began at an early age. By the age of 15, she had an American Music Award, two Grammy awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards, and four Billboard Music Awards under her belt. The Garland native is known for her impressive vocal range, and draws inspiration from country and pop music.
All are welcome as the general public is invited, and several Sundance Square eateries will have offerings available. Donate toward United Way’s efforts at unitedwaytarrant.org.
