2.) Lone Star Film Festival in Sundance Square
This weekend is the 8th annual Lone Star Film Festival (LSFF) in Sundance Square. The film festival is the signature event of the Lone Star Film Society. This four-day festival takes place in Fort Worth every year and gives viewers the chance to see highly anticipated films of the year, while also interacting with the artists who created them.
In honor of its 8th annual event, LSFF announced eight titles from its 2014 lineup, including The Imitation Game, Mr. Turner and Winter Sleep. Tickets for the festival are available through the Lone Star Film Society.

3.) Caring For Kierstin's Legacy Drive-In Movie Night at Texas Motor Speedway
This Saturday, Texas Motor Speedway will host the "Caring For Kierstin's Legacy" Drive-In Movie Night. This night will raise funds to initiate a memorial fund for the Flower Mound teenager, Kierstin Eaddy, who was fatally injured in a go-karting accident this past summer. All proceeds from this event will go to the Kierstin Eaddy Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund.
