Anthony arrives unexpectedly at classmate Caroline's door, carrying a beat-up copy of Walt Whitman's poetry and an urgent assignment from their English teacher. Homebound due to illness, Caroline hasn't been to school in months, but she is as quick and sardonic as Anthony is athletic, sensitive, and popular. When these two let down their guard and share their secrets, this seemingly mundane poetry project unlocks the much deeper mystery that brought them together.

Amon Carter Museum: Remington and Russell
Although they were contemporaries, Frederic Remington (1861–1909) and Charles M. Russell (1864–1926) could hardly have been more different. This focused exhibition of paintings and sculptures selected from the
Amon Carter's extensive collection offers visitors an opportunity to gain insight into dissimilarities between the two artists. Remington and Russell followed their own unique paths to become the greatest practitioners of the art of the American West. Yet, regardless of their differences, they not only manifested the Western Myth, they were largely responsible for creating it.
Kimbell Art Museum: Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass
The Collection of Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass is a selection of paintings and sculptures amassed by two pillars of Texas philanthropy and business. From this collection of Impressionist to post–World War II art, 37 works of painting and sculpture will be on view, including an impressive pair of paintings by Van Gogh—Street in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, 1888, and Enclosed Field with Plowman, 1889—and a major still life by Picasso, Fruit Dish, Bottle, and Guitar, 1923. Important paintings by Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Vuillard, Bonnard, Matisse, Miró, Léger, Chagall and Rothko and sculptures by Rodin, Maillol and Segal will also be on view.
