Texas Christian University (TCU) defeated Kansas State on Saturday night in a 41-20, Big 12 game with huge playoff implications. Trevone Boykin set a career high with 123 yards rushing on 17 carries and completed 23 of 34 passes. Boykin even did an acrobatic flip on the second of his three touchdown runs, for a roaring TCU crowd.
TCU ended Kansas State's five-game winning streak and created a three-way tie at the top of Big 12 standings, with Kansas State and Baylor and three games left in the regular season.
TCU has games left at Kansas and Texas before their last regular season game on Dec. 6, at home against Iowa State. None of those teams has a winning record. Go frogs!
