A new community wellness center for residents in Southwest Fort Worth and the surrounding areas is set to open on March 2nd, in a collaboration between Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth and the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth.
This new facility, located on the first floor of the Professional Building across from the Harris Parkway from Texas Health Southwest hospital, will be open to both the public and hospital employees. The Wellness Center is a 10,400 square foot facility that will include cardio equipment, strength-training equipment and exercise classes.
The Wellness Center will open seven days a week and will include many traditional YMCA programs, including a 21 day workout challenge they call the Life-Changing Challenge.
