As with any job, lots of what I do is not especially exciting but it is work that has to get done.
And then there's the candy.
In May, we take a look at why a number of professional golfers have elected to live in or near Fort Worth.
An obvious answer is the central location and D/FW International Airport. That makes going and coming for tournaments easy and fast -- and that means more time with family and friends.
But the golfers writer Alison Rich was able to speak to offer other reasons as well and among them is the storied history of the area that centers around golfing greats Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson. And, of course, Colonial Country Club.
We shot our cover at Colonial, where the Crowne Plaza Invitational will be held May 21-27. The golf course is as lovely as I've seen it this early in the year and the recent rains promise an interesting rough. It will make for great golf.

I hope you watched the Masters' final round. Bubba Watson's shot off on the pine needles to set up his win in the second hold of sudden death will be talked about for, well, as long as they play at Augusta National.
