We took a few minutes to catch up with our 2023 Best Influencer (Readers’ Choice) Winner, Tiffany Blackmon, as she shares fabulous tips and tells us about what she can’t live without these days.
What does being an influencer mean to you?
Being an influencer means sharing my life transparently — my successes, my failures, what’s worked and what hasn’t. I love sharing resources and tips that hopefully help and inspire others. I also love shining a light on important topics through my podcast. My goal is to share stories that are empowering and relatable. I want people to know that they’re not alone.
Why did you start My So-Called Fabulous?
I created My So-Called Fabulous to really bring my blog to life. With a career as a chef, (in front of the camera), I have a lot of entertaining tips, and I've gained many life experiences along the way. I love helping others and being a guide on elevating the everyday, recipes, beauty regimens, fitness, fashion, wellness, interiors, and most importantly, just realness!

Tell us more about your podcast.
Of all the things we do, my absolute favorite is the My So-Called Fabulous podcast. Now entering its sixth season, we’ve had such amazing conversations with fabulous guests. We cover topics that I’m most passionate about — like food, fitness, beauty, and wellness — and we bring on guests who are making a difference in their community. We learn, we share, we laugh, we cry. It’s something we’re very committed to. We release new episodes weekly on YouTube and various other platforms.
What is something that not many people know about you?
I simply adore my pup, Lala; she is the most loving dog. She was my very first pet when I was 52. I was attacked by a dog at the age of 4 and always had a fear of dogs, actually all animals. Lala taught me how to trust dogs (along with a bit of therapy). She’s become a mascot in my brand and fills my heart.
Share some of your favorite tips.
Well, you only have one body — you must take care of it. One of the things that I live by is food prep and consistency in my self-care. Also, it’s important to make time for those you love and to be present. One way I’ve added extra time in my schedule recently is by implementing “Flex Fridays." My team and I try to get our week wrapped up by noon every Friday so we can make extra time for friends, family, or just time for ourselves.
What are a few things you couldn’t live without right now?
Well, of course, I couldn’t live without my amazing family. A few things in my current rotation are Avene lip balm and Dr. Sturm Lip Balm. Obsessed is an understatement, and they’re so hydrating! I also love weekly visits to the Dry Bar. It’s a time saver, an instant boost of glam, and a fun way to self-care. You won't see me without my My So-Called Fabulous Yeti tumbler. I try to drink a gallon of water every day!
