Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth
Imagine walking into The Fort Worth Club’s Trinity Room filled with Executive Chef Tim Prefontaine's best wild game culinary spread. Event attendees' taste buds are tantalized just by the view of a large seafood display of oysters and shrimp, port-braised Cervena red deer short ribs, and an abundance of other deliciously curated dishes.
What started as a multiple-course meal for hunting and fishing enthusiasts over 20 years ago, Wild Game Dinner has become a premier experience for supporters of the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth (RMHFW).
Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth
Wild Game Dinner is an impactful event. At its inception, it raised $4,000, and today, it raises over 10 percent of the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth operating income budget. Since 1981, the charity has cared for families who have traveled to Fort Worth for their ill or injured child’s medical treatment.
"There are other hunting and fishing-themed events, but this is an elevated experience with the ambiance at The Fort Worth Club," says Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth CEO Jennifer Johns. "Wild Game Dinner is a casual, fun, and relaxing celebration of community and compassion."
The culinary menu is a significant part of the evening, as are the live auction and bucket raffle featuring exclusive outdoor experiences, designer brands, luxury vacation packages, and more options for individuals with varying interests. The night continues with an afterparty featuring festive activities and live music.
