Rock N’ Roll Weekend Brunch
Bottleneck Management
City Works has one of the best brunch menus in the area. Their Rock n’ Roll-theme pays homage to rock n’ roll’s attitude of self-expression, fun, and ability to bring people together with cleverly named menu items, rock n’ roll music, and rockstar service every Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m. A list of “greatest hits” from the weekday menu are also available during brunch hours.
Their brunch menu includes dishes such as the Sweet Child O’ Mine, a stuffed brioche French toast with Bailey’s cream cheese, vanilla bean ice cream batter, mixed berry compote, and powdered sugar. Another favorite is Mother’s Little Helper, their take on a “hangover bowl,” filled with smoked cheddar grits, braised pork belly, breakfast sausage links, sunny side up eggs, and smoked tomato charred scallion relish. Guests can also enjoy shareable dishes like Donut Stop Believin’, powdered sugar-coated doughnuts with chocolate hazelnut sauce and mixed berry jam and the Jon Bun Jovi, a warm jumbo cinnamon roll coated in vanilla icing.
Brunch beverage offerings include the Flapjack Old Fashioned made with Devil’s River rye whiskey, butterscotch Schnapps, candied maple syrup, bacon, and orange bitters. Fit for a queen – or the Queen is the Hot Blooded, an 18 oz. spicy Bloody Mary crowned with fried onion rings, and a skewer heftily loaded with candied bacon, housemade spicy pickles, a cheese curd, olive, cornichon, pepperoni, pickled jalapeños, and hard-boiled egg. Guests can also order either a carafe or flight of mimosas with flavor options such as classic orange juice, bellini, tropical, sangria, rosé, or paloma.
