The hotel's first floor will feature an expansive lobby, as well as a library stocked with books by local authors. Guests will be able to check out books, take them home, and return them via mail.
Mule Alley in the Fort Worth Stockyards is quickly taking shape with tenants like The Biscuit Bar, Provender Hall, and Lucchese Bootmaker already open and welcoming visitors. But the development still awaits the opening of its biggest project, Hotel Drover, currently under construction. The hotel is eyeing an early 2021 opening.
Part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection Hotels, Hotel Drover stands at six stories with 200 rooms and 12,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel will also feature the 97 West Kitchen & Bar, an event barn, pool, music stage, and fitness center, along with a library stocked with books by local authors, which guests can check out, take home, and return via mail.
