Many Z Gallerie stores will be closing soon, including the one at The Shops at Clearfork.
The closure is a casualty of the company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing last March and the subsequent new ownership by DirectBuy Home Improvement in May.
One of seven locations closing this summer in Texas alone, the Fort Worth store is currently in liquidation mode. A total of 27 stores are slated for closure nationwide. The Clearfork Z Gallerie is selling everything from floor samples to display, so get it while you can.
With furnishings and decorative accents ranging from modern to downright glitzy, Z Gallerie is known for its accessible home decor and entertaining merchandise. Three stores will remain open in the Metroplex, those being in Dallas on Knox Street, in Plano at the Shops at Willow Bend, and in the Southlake Town Square.
One of the original tenants of The Shops at Clearfork, Z Gallerie is located on the corner of Marathon Avenue and Ozona Boulevard. Z Gallerie sits near many other furniture and decorating hubs, like Bob Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Ballard Design, NuVitrum, and Arhaus.
According to management, the Clearfork Z Gallerie will close its doors as soon as all merchandise is gone, but definitely by the end of July. There is no word yet on a subsequent tenant for the large showroom space.
