Halloween isn’t fully canceled this year. There are quite a few events happening throughout the Fort Worth area amid the pandemic, so if you're looking for a place to take your little ones, furry friends, or ghoul pals, here's a list of things to do this weekend.
Fall Block & Stock Party
The Funky Town Fridge is hosting a block party, and all they ask for is a donation to stock the community fridge — whether it be produce, canned goods, or other food items to help feed families in need. Costumes are encouraged.
Where: 2308 Vaughn Blvd.
When: Oct. 31, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
COVID-19 Guidelines: Masks and social distancing required.
Six Flags Hallowfest
Six Flags Over Texas is hosting Hallowfest this year, which includes a trick-or-treat trail, costumed characters, and haunted-themed rides. Besides rides and scares, the park will have plenty of seasonal décor perfect for Instagram pictures. Six Flags does enforce a costume policy for all guests (see website for regulations), and the park will be operating at a limited capacity to avoid overcrowding.
Where: 2201 E. Road to Six Flags St., Arlington
When: Weekends through Nov. 1
COVID-19 Guidelines: Guests three years and up required to wear masks; social distancing strictly enforced; multiple alcohol-based hand sanitizer stations located throughout the park.
"Rocky Horror Picture Show" at PIB
Panther Island Brewing's fourth annual showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is still happening amid COVID-19. Doors will be opening at noon, and the show starts at 7 p.m. Costumes are encouraged, of course. Table reservations are $30. Contact [email protected] for a reservation.

When: Oct. 31, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Fort Worth Halloween 2020 – Revenge of the Rooftop
Free Play Fort Worth is hosting a Halloween party with free rooftop movies, discount arcade games, food and drinks, and more. Admissions are $6 all day, and anyone in costume gets a goody bag. Expect a slate of old-school flicks like "Night of the Living Dead," "House on Haunted Hill," "Voyage to the Planet of the Prehistoric Women," and "Killers from Space."
