Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show
U.S. Navy Blue Angels
After making USA TODAY's 10Best air shows in 2018 and 2019, the Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show is hoping a third time would be the charm.
The show is calling on fans to vote in USA TODAY's 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award contest — the Alliance Air Show is a nominee in the Best Air Show category.
Voting started Monday and lasts for four weeks, and participants may vote once a day for the run of the contest. USA TODAY will then announce the winners on the 10Best website on July 17.
So far, COVID-19 has not affected plans for the Alliance Air Show, which takes place every October. The show is still scheduled for Oct. 17 – 18, celebrating its 30th anniversary with appearances by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, Team Oracle, the Air National Guard Band of the Southwest, and more. The event will also feature aircraft and historical displays, interactive exhibits, simulators and, according to a press release, "the world's largest inflatable slide."
