Rambo Elliott
Photographer Rambo Elliott
Between traveling with Leon Bridges as his tour photographer and previewing her short film, "The Bridge," at South by Southwest — coupled with countless other appearances in national and local publications — Rambo Elliott has found herself in some pretty cool places over the course of her career.
Her next stop: the Stockyards.
The Fort Worth-based photographer will have an art installment and exhibition, "Rambo Elliott: A Roaming Conversation," at a vacant space in Mule Alley (128 Exchange Ave., Ste. 570), starting Friday. The exhibit will feature a combination of photos and neon signage "to create a holistic temporal space that presents a dialogue on beauty and empowerment where viewers are encouraged to become fully immersed," according to the Stockyards.
"Rambo Elliott: A Roaming Conversation" runs through Sunday; hours are 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The exhibit runs concurrently with the Stockyards Championship Rodeos, scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Cowtown Coliseum, along with a full weekend of live music featuring artists like Brody Caster, Squeezebox Bandits, Costen Cross, Sunday Stirrup, and more.
