Arc Angels
The highly anticipated opening of Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall in Fort Worth’s historic Stockyards is upon us and figurative trumpets sounded by angels will mark the occasion.
Arc Angels, in fact, the Austin-based blues rock band formed in 1992 in the aftermath of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s death and featuring Doyle Bramhall II, Charlie Sexton, and Chris Layton, are the first in a series of opening shows to open the new Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall, on Friday.
Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall, a partnership between Chef Tim Love and Live Nation, will offer more than 30 shows as part of the opening lineup that includes a diverse roster of renowned musicians, including Ludacris, Foreigner, Foals, Pat Green, and many others.
Tickets to the opening series of shows are on sale now at livenation.com.
“This remarkable talent lineup from such diverse genres of music coming to Tannahill’s is nothing short of spectacular,” says Love in a press release. “I’m beyond thrilled to help host these incredible musicians and offer Fort Worth residents the opportunity to discover new artists and for these artists to gain new fans in our community.”
Tannahill’s, named for Love’s son, is the new 26,000-square-foot live music hall in the heart of Fort Worth’s Stockyards in the historic horse and mule barns of the Mule Alley redevelopment. The venue, restaurant, and private event space are equipped with extensive kitchen facilities designed to accommodate pre-event dining, full concert concessions, and multiple course meals for up to 500 guests for weddings, family reunions, and social and corporate events.
Designed by Studio 11, Tannahill’s can accommodate up to 1,000 concertgoers in general assembly. The music hall’s mezzanine level features a dedicated bar, and includes three, 20-person VIP suite options with catering, a separate lounge area, and a private bar with views of the main stage. The three suites are available for purchase on a per event basis.
“The Music Hall within Tannahill’s offers music fans across the region a unique opportunity to connect with some of their favorite artists in a spectacular new, intimate space here in the heart of Fort Worth’s historic Stockyards,” says Anthony Nicolaidis, Dallas Market President for Live Nation. “We can’t wait for fans to experience our opening series of shows and see what Chef Love and Live Nation have cooked up for them.”
A full food and beverage program, including a full-service restaurant by Love, will open Nov. 1. The restaurant will feature tavern specialties, show-themed drink specials and an extensive wine list.
