We are REALLY excited to share this news. Remember hearing about that 2,000 foot water slide? Well, Pantherfest and Slide the City will be releasing the FINAL wave of tickets tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. If you want to join in the fun - and help set a new Guinness World Record - we recommend getting to their website as early as possible Friday morning - previous rounds of tickets have sold out in just hours.
In case you've forgotten, here's the scoop:
The Trinity River Vision Authority (along with some very generous sponsors - check out this link for details) are throwing Fort Worth a birthday party! Panther City will be 166 years young this summer and, to celebrate, she’s throwing herself a birthday bash down by the North Main Street bridge. Admission is free to all, and the party will feature local musicians like Chris Watson, Ryan Tharp, Charla Corn, Shotgun Friday and more! Rahr, Martin House and Panther Island Brewing will be out there with ice-cold beer and Fred’s Texas Cafe and Reata (among others) have signed on to dish up food.
Tickets for the water slide are $40 but, like we said, the festival is free and open to all. Want to know more? Check out Pantherfest's website.
We'll see you there!
