You know what they say — everything's bigger in Texas. And some of the biggest Christmas trees can be found around Fort Worth — some over 50 feet tall. Here are nine of the tallest trees in the area.
1. Enchant - 100 feet
Okay, so it's not an actual live tree, but the 100-foot Christmas tree found inside the maze at Enchant is made of white LED lights that are just too pretty.
Where: 1000 Ballpark Way, Arlington
2. Sundance Square - 65 feet
Sundance Square's 65-foot Concolor Fir is the largest, live outdoor Christmas tree in Fort Worth. At the foot of the tree, Santa is available for photos.
Where: 201 Main St.
3. Six Flags Over Texas - 60 feet

The tree at Six Flags Over Texas is actually made of more than 70 trees, forming one giant tree formation standing nearly 60 feet at the entrance of the theme park. A lighting ceremony for the tree takes place every night (weather permitting).

4. Texas Motor Speedway - 59 feet

At 59-feet tall, Texas Motor Speedway's Douglas Fir is one of the tallest live, outdoor trees in the state, lit with 10,000 LED lights.

5. Gaylord Texan - 54 feet

The Gaylord Texan's 54-foot tree is decorated with 12,000 ornaments and set on a rotating platform.

6. Arlington City Hall - 50 feet

The tree outside Arlington City Hall came all the way from Michigan. The Blue Spruce stands at 50 feet.

7. TCU - 40 feet

TCU's 40-foot Christmas tree is located in the Campus Commons, just outside Brown-Lupton University Union.

8. Downtown Grapevine - 30 feet

The “Christmas Capital of Texas” has a 30-foot live Christmas tree in its historic downtown, lit with over a million lights.

9. The Shops at Clearfork - 30 feet

One of the newest additions to Fort Worth, The Shops at Clearfork, has a 30-foot tree in The Plaza. Santa is available for complimentary photographs in front of the tree throughout the month of December.
