The inaugural edition of Art Worth, a festival held on the lawn at Will Rogers Memorial Center, was staged Oct. 21 - 23. This juried festival of fine craft and fine art in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District spotlighted works of art in glass, metal, wood, clay, & fiber, plus paintings, photography, jewelry and more. The event offered the opportunity to learn about the kills and techniques involved in various art disciplines through live demonstrations. There were also performances of classical music, plus and array of food & libations. Art Worth admission was free, thanks to sponsors including Fort Worth Magazine. The event will be staged annually.
