MMV Boutique
A new, Latina-led boutique is coming to Magnolia Avenue.
MMV Boutique will open later this summer at 1455 W. Magnolia Ave., Ste. 109, taking over the space from another boutique, Etico, after it closes on June 12. Owned by sisters Liz and Gabi Jimenez, MMV specializes in modern, trendy women's clothing from dresses to casual wear and athleisure at decidedly accessible price points.
"Our big thing is, how can we empower our customer to be successful, confident, independent, but also without breaking the bank? We know that times are tough, and you want that cute outfit, but you don't want to splurge on something crazy," Liz says.
MMV began as a side hustle for the sisters, selling online as well as at marketplaces and pop-up events. Prior to moving to Magnolia, the boutique was previously located at 76107 collective at West Vickery Boulevard.
The Magnolia location promises to be an Instagram-friendly space, comparable to the XOXO Dining Room in Dallas — design plans include a gold chandelier and faux cotton candy hanging from the ceiling.
Think "candy shop meets apparel meets empowered meets glitz and glam meets trendy, " Liz says.
But beyond fashion, MMV is also philanthropy-minded, donating to organizations like the Ronald McDonald House, Funky Town Fridge, and individual families in need.
"I think that every business should be based on, how can you bring God into this, and how can you give back to the community? That is important to us," Liz says. "That's something that we're very proud of."
They hope to open by the beginning of July.
