Hey Funkytown, I'm Alexandra. I'm so excited to be here with y'all every week as a style contributor! Just like you, I am continuously blessed by our dynamic city and all that it has to offer. In a nutshell, I'm the ultimate melting pot with a big heap of Southern Comfort. Yes, it's true that I would do unmentionable things for red bottom shoes, but at the end of the never-ending day, life isn't about the haves and have-nots. What's going on as of late? Well, anyone paying attention knows that Texas is living up to her reputation and giving us all her seasons at once. It's tough though to make informed outfit decisions when we deal with the combination of monsoon, blizzard and tornado. These boyfriend jeans have been such a staple for me lately, either with a chunky knit sweater or a basic flowy tank. As a black leather skinny jeans girl, I was hesitant. And about these fabulous booties - now is the time to steal all of your favorite winter styles for less. Light suede is just asking to get red wine spilled on it, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. I love how these jeans and booties mix and match so effortlessly. Hopefully our Arctic tundra will soon turn into a little California interlude before the Texan desert hits.
