Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Kick the Can 2015
Date: November 6
Join Tarrant Area Food Bank for Kick the Can 2015 and help kick off the holiday season by giving back. Come and cheer on relay teams from workplaces and schools as they kick cans across Sundance Square Plaza. The public is invited to attend free of charge.
XTO Energy Parade of Lights
Date: November 22
Watch as Downtown’s streets come to life with the 2015 XTO Energy Parade of Lights. With over 100 illuminated floats, you won’t want to watch as Fort Worth makes spirits bright. The magic will start at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22.
Annual Tree Lighting
Date: November 22
After the XTO Energy Parade of Lights, come out to the Sundance Square Plaza to see the annual lighting of the 58-foot Christmas Tree. After the tree lighting, stick around to join in the sing-a-long holiday carols and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. The night will be so jolly, maybe even Saint Nick will have to stop by to get in on the fun. Santa will be stopping by frequently after this event – check out his schedule.
Rudolph and the Red Nosed Reindeer the Musical
Date: November 24 and 25
For a show that will entertain the whole family, head down to the Bass Performance Hall and see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer the Musical. Watch as the longest-running television special comes to life through song and dance. Discover your inner misfit while spending quality time with loved ones over a great holiday performance.
Do You Hear What I Hear! A Jubilee Christmas
Date: November 27 until December 26
For more holiday shows, check out Jubilee Theatre’s Do You Hear What I Hear! A Jubilee Christmas. This year’s annual show has a new script written by Akin Babatunde and Geno Young. Founded in 1981, Jubilee is known as Dallas-Fort Worth’s oldest theatre to create and produce shows about the African American experience. Experience a part of Fort Worth history while also seeing the new innovations coming out of the theatre while you can.
Friday Night Concert Series
Date: December 4, 11 and 18
Come out to Sundance Square every Friday before Christmas in December for a free live concert in the plaza. Performers include Gloria and Friends, Kevin Aldridge and the Appraisers and Luke Wade.
“Cowboy Christmas”

Join in on a Bass Hall tradition for Michael Martin Murphey’s annual “Cowboy Christmas.” This country poet shares his heartwarming story frilled with Christmas cheer and wonder that the whole family will enjoy.
Robert Earl Keen’s Merry Christmas from the Fam-O-Lee

Come out and join this Eve of New Year’s Eve party at Bass Performance Hall. Watch Robert Earl Keen, a bluegrass singer/songwriter, capture Fort Worth with his voice. Robert Earl Keen's Merry Christmas from the Fam-O-Lee is a performance you won’t want to miss.
