Willie Nelson
Willie Nelson was one of the first musicians to grace the stage at Billy Bob's Texas, first performing there on April 5, 1981, just four days after the honky-tonk opened.
Forty years later, Nelson is back for his 58th show.
The country music legend will be returning to Billy Bob's on Nov. 20 for a "Willie Nelson and Family" concert. Nelson has been a longtime friend of the venue, which played host to six of his annual Fourth of July picnics. Nelson also performed at Billy Bob’s Grand Re-Opening in 1989.
Nelson's not the only big name helping Billy Bob's celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. Other acts on the lineup include Cheap Trick, Melissa Ethridge, and a nearly-sold-out series of shows with Kid Rock.
