1.) J.Rae's Bakery Fort Worth, West 7th

Anyone who has spent any time around West 7th has seen the giant cupcake atop of the J.Rae's Foch Street warehouse location. The bakery has both indoor and outdoor seating with a comfy couch inside and small hot pink tables outside.

J.Rae's has all of the traditional cupcake flavors, along with seasonal options. Look out for their Pumpkin Spice cupcakes! Their cupcakes are topped with a large helping of sugary frosting and are priced at $2.50 each.

2.) The Cupcake Cottage, Arlington Heights

The Cupcake Cottage is a hidden gem off of Camp Bowie in Arlington Heights. This family cupcake bakery boasts cupcakes that are made from scratch daily using fresh ingredients, including fresh fruits and pure extracts.

This three person operation is open at 10:00 a.m. and closes when they sell their last cupcake. They usually bake between 200-300 cupcakes daily for their walk-in customers. Come early and get your cupcakes for $2.95 each.

3.) The Original Cupcakery, Downtown

Downtown Fort Worth's The Original Cupcakery is located across the street from the Bass Performance Hall. The Cupcakery has handcrafted cupcakes made with fresh ingredients, such as fresh butter and cream cheese.

This location has seating with a great people-watching view of downtown. With flavors ranging from “Tickle Me Pink” to their red velvet cupcake called the “Southern Belle”, the Cupcakery has a plethora of options for both kids and adults.
