There’s good news for all of you late-weekend risers and working professionals who enjoy Italian cuisine with a local Texas twist. Now you don’t have to wait for dinner to make a reservation at the new 61 Osteria restaurant, located at 500 W 7th St. Fort Worth restaurateur, Adam Jones and acclaimed Chef Blaine Staniford, recently announced that 61 Osteria will now serve a weekend brunch on Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 am - 2 pm and weekday lunch from 11 am - 2 pm.
“Our guests have been loving our dinner service and we wanted to expand our hours to make it possible for more people to enjoy the restaurant throughout the week,” says Chef Staniford. “We’ve added some delicious sandwiches to the lunch menu and indulgent Italian breakfast dishes for brunch.”
Guests can expect brunch entrees such as the Semolina Dutch Baby - luxardo cherries, lemon, and powdered sugar; Soft Scrambled Egg Bruschetta - ricotta, 24-month prosciutto, and hen of the wood mushrooms; House Granola - chestnut honey, crispy farro, hazelnuts, and local yogurt; Mozzarella in Carrozza - battered mozzarella sandwich with hearth tomato sauce, calabrian chilis, and baked eggs.
Weekday lunch-goers can enjoy new lunch items such as the light Chopped Salad - gem lettuce, radicchio, black chickpeas, genoa salami, cherry tomatoes, pepperoncini, provolone, and an oregano red wine vinaigrette with an option to add chicken or poached shrimp. Scrumptious sandwiches are offered including the Italian Hoagie - Rovagnati cured meats, giadiniera, provolone, gem lettuce, tomato, and Calabrian chili aioli; Broccolini Panino – preserved lemon, Calabrian chili, provolone, mozzarella with roasted garlic aioli; Shaved Porchetta – castle-franco, provolone, mozzarella with fennel and caramelized mostarda. All sandwiches are served with rosemary fries or a small Caesar salad.
