Nickel City Bar is set to open its Fort Worth location at 212 South Main St. this summer. Owner Travis Tober describes Nickel City as an “anytime bar” with “a little bit of something for everybody.” The bar will feature not only a variety of wines and cocktails but also a whiskey bar with over 300 options, along with an agave bar with 150 to 200 tequilas.
After multiple visits to Fort Worth, Tober says he was drawn to the city's “real, relaxed” environment that matches the authentic vibe he strives to create for his own bar, making Fort Worth the ideal spot for his second location. Envisioned as a place to “hang out and relax,” Tober invites his patrons to “come as you are.”
"The area's got that vibe we like — where people like to hang out and relax and not be too pretentious,” he says.
