Roanoke is the next stop for The Brass Tap.
Ron Jankowski, owner of the Fort Worth location on Houston Street, is opening a new 3,200-square-foot bar at 856 E. Highway 114. This new location will mark the Tampa-based brand's 50th location opening.
The new Roanoke spot will offer a comprehensive beer selection that focuses on local breweries, such as Panther Island and The Collective Brewing Project.
“With both of the locations, we want to make sure that we're supporting the small, growing craft breweries that are based right here in the Fort Worth area and giving them a platform to get their name out,” Jankowski wrote in an email to Fort Worth Magazine.
This new location will also include big screen projectors for those wanting to watch sporting events, a full liquor selection and a dog-friendly patio.
The Brass Tap Roanoke will be having its soft opening Saturday before a grand opening on Monday, which will include a happy hour special: 20 percent off draft beer, appetizers, house wines and special tappings of rare kegs. All drinks will be available at the grand opening.
“The great thing about The Brass Tap is that there really is something for everyone,” Jankowski wrote. “Whether you like ciders, pale ales, sours — whatever it is that you like — we'll have something for you.”
