Craftwork Coffee Co. is expanding.
The coffee shop and coworking space announced plans for a second location on Thursday. Located at 1121 West Magnolia Ave. and designed by architect 97w, the 1,850-square-foot space will have a 36-seat coffee shop, 14 desks, two call booths and a conference room among other features. The space will be open to all Craftwork members, including those who currently use the first location at 4731 Camp Bowie Blvd., which opened January 2016.
The Magnolia Avenue location is expected to open in the spring.
"Living in Fairmount, we constantly meet people from the Near Southside who are starting new businesses," said Riley Kiltz, who co-founded Craftwork with Collin Sansom. "From custom suit designers to brand storytellers, the spectrum is broad, but that's what makes our district so compelling. We're looking forward to seeing the mosaic of people that enter our doors."
