Duro Hospitality, the creative team behind popular Dallas dining destinations like The Charles and El Carlos Elegante, will open its first Fort Worth restaurant, The Chumley House, on Nov. 25, according to a release.
The European-inspired steakhouse, located at 3230 Camp Bowie Blvd. #150, combines classic British influences with a sophisticated dining experience, marking a new chapter for the hospitality group.
“Fort Worth has always held a special place in our hearts,” said Benji Homsey, partner at Duro Hospitality in a statement. “Between my time at TCU and Chas Martin’s years of living here, we feel deeply connected to this city. With The Chumley House, we aim to create a unique experience that complements Fort Worth’s vibrant dining scene while adding something distinctly fresh.”
The 3,500-square-foot restaurant seats 90 guests indoors and 25 outdoors, blending old-world charm with modern luxury. Designed by Duro Hospitality partners Corbin and Ross See of Sees Design, alongside architect Patrick Craine, the restaurant features spaces like The Study, adorned with mahogany walls, a custom fireplace, and English hunting motifs, and the Trellis Room, highlighted by herringbone wood floors and saddle leather banquettes. The restaurant’s name itself honors Chumley, the beloved dog of partner Chas Martin.
Enough about the ambiance, what about the food, right?

The menu reflects the diverse culinary influences of London, offering a curated steak program and reimagined European classics. Highlights include Butter Chicken Pie with coriander-glazed roots, Halibut “Porterhouse” with chimichurri, and the signature Beef Wellington wrapped in puff pastry. Guests are welcomed with freshly baked scones and rose lychee tea, setting the tone for an indulgent dining experience.
Sides like Herb Popovers and “The Regal Potato” pair perfectly with the mains, while desserts such as Salted Caramel Biscoff Trifle and Mimi’s Icebox Pie add a sweet finish. A global wine list complements the menu, featuring selections from Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Napa Valley.
“Our goal was to transport guests to an elegant, old-world setting,” designer Corbin See said. “The Chumley House combines the coziness of a British manor with a sense of refined opulence.”
Duro Hospitality, founded in 2020, is known for its innovative approach to hospitality, blending concept development, design, and operations. The group’s portfolio includes Michelin Guide-recognized restaurants like Mister Charles and Casa Duro. The Chumley House continues their tradition of creating spaces that feel worldly yet rooted in their Texas surroundings.
The Chumley House will be open daily for dinner, from 4:30-9:30 p.m. Sunday - Thursday and until 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Reservations are available at thechumleyhouse.com.
