Birdie’s Social Club is a cheeky nod to the 1950s and 60s and is set to have the grandest of grand openings 4-8 p.m. Aug. 31.
The Powell Brothers will be performing and Fletcher’s will be serving corn dogs. Not to mention the complimentary champagne from the Bubble Bus while supplies last.
Birdie’s is singing a mantra: “There ain’t no strangers, just friends we ain’t met yet.”
An ode to Route 66 is Birdie’s, inspired by the sights of this iconic U.S. roadway.

Birdie’s is the latest venture from Cowtown Concepts, the creators of Curfew Bar.
The new digs, on the site where Lola’s became a thing before moving to Berry Street, is a casual, open-air concept with cold drinks, good eats, and entertainment. Situated in the Cultural District, Birdie’s offers three indoor and outdoor bars, multiple patios, and decorated with bright murals. “The Clubhouse” is the interior space for live entertainment, reminiscent of an old-school cigar lounge feel.
Even the drinks give homage to the classic time with themed drinks such as “Last Greyhound to Amarillo” and “Little Hollywood” — a bourbon-based riff on the Dirty Shirley with an ancho chile kick. Birdie’s will soon also offer food and brunch specials.
