Prepare yourself for some great Mexican cuisine making its way to Cowtown.
The Firebird Restaurant Group will be bringing Meso Maya to Downtown Fort Worth. The restaurant will open in the Kress Building on Main Street. This will be the first Meso Maya location in Fort Worth. This two-story restaurant will offer lunch and dinner menus created by Chef Nico Sanchez.
Sanchez's menu is filled with natural ingredients from Mexico with scratch moles, adobos, salsas and hand-ground tortillas.
The Kress Building is a Fort Worth landmark. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. Firebird Restaurant Group purchased the site from the Triton Commercial Real Estate in March 2015 and is completely renovating the building.
Meso Maya has two locations in Dallas, one in Preston Forest and another in Downtown Dallas.
Firebird Restaurant Group is opening another restaurant in Fort Worth in 2016. Tortaco, a brand new Firebird Restaurant Group creative concept, will also feature Chef Nico Sanchez, recognized for his inspired menus at Meso Maya and Taqueria La Ventana.
We know we are ready to fill up on these authentic Mexican flavors. We are counting down the days until Meso Maya is open in Fort Worth.
