il Modo
Take a trip to one of Fort Worth’s most historic hotels, The Harper, to try the new seasonal menu of one of the city’s premiere Italian restaurants — il Modo. From the creative mind of executive chef Greg Pawlowski comes a new menu that spotlights timely flavors through new items that will entice both new and returning diners for all meal services, according to a release.
“We’re so excited to unveil our new Spring menus at il Modo,” says executive chef, Greg Pawlowski. “I’ve been honored to continuously serve the Residents of Fort Worth my iteration of new Italian cuisine, and am grateful for their ongoing support and enthusiasm. We look forward to welcoming diners in to enjoy this new culinary experience which highlights some of my favorite, locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients.”
These new additions can be seen across the Spring Dinner Menu, with new plates available as antipasta, pasta, table-sized entrees, and more. Highlights include Spring Pea Soup with crispy prosciutto and crème fraiche; Garganelli Pasta with tomatoes, asparagus, English peas, wild mushrooms and a pistachio arugula pesto; Swordfish with asparagus, wild mushroom, English peas and porcini sauce; Seafood Platter with tuna crudo, oysters, snow crab, prawns, razor clams and lobster; and more dishes and sides that spotlight the flavors of the season.
Each of the dishes will pair well with il Modo’s impressive selection of wines from the restaurant’s cellar filled with nearly 74 unique vintners, of which 90 percent are Italian.
The Brunch Menu has also been refreshed with new Spring dishes. Highlights from the menu include the Malted Waffle with maple syrup, Nutella whipped cream, and berries; Lobster Benedict with butter-poached lobster, poached eggs, spinach, and hollandaise atop an English muffin; il Modo Omelet with tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto, and basil; and more.
Brunch service is supported by daytime offerings reflective of the evening menu with pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and more, as well as a bright menu of specialty libations. Some of these offerings include a sky-high Mimosa Tower to refreshing classics such as the Blackberry Limoncello Bubbly with limoncello, blackberry syrup, and La Marca, and the Morning Glory with Blackland Rye, La Colombe Cold Brew, Blackland Brown Sugar Bourbon, and brown sugar simple syrup. A full flight of curated coffee and espresso beverages is also available.
