Taco Diner at Waterside is closing. Trademark Property says they do not have a replacement to announce for the vacated Taco Diner spot just yet, but says Yoga Six will be moving in next door to Katour’s Salon soon on the south end of the property.
One of Waterside’s original tenants says adios. Taco Diner says the Sundance Square location is still going strong, but broke the sad news in a Facebook post on Saturday:
“Thank you for dining with us at Taco Diner over the last three years. We have made the difficult decision to close our Waterside location and want to thank our loyal guests in the Fort Worth community for embracing our style of Mexico City street food.
We have taken steps to ease the impact of the closure by finding opportunities for all managers and team members at neighboring restaurants within the M Crowd family and look forward to continued service and great memories at our neighboring diner in Sundance Square in the years to come.”
The Waterside restaurant had floundered since its opening in 2016 ― attempting to right the ship with many menu changes and updates, but never found the right mix.
M Crowd Restaurant Group also owns several Mi Cocina restaurants with Tarrant locations at Chapel Hill, Sundance Square, Southlake, and Alliance.
Trademark Property says they do not have a replacement to announce for the vacated Taco Diner spot just yet, but says Yoga Six will be moving in next door to Katour’s Salon soon on the south end of the property. Waterside will also be hosting a benefit run on Nov. 9, benefitting A Wish With Wings. It’s called Take the Cake Run ― because Susie Cakes Bakery is bringing refreshments to the finish line.
