Fort Brewery & Pizza is moving.
The Magnolia Avenue brewpub and pizza joint is heading to the former Parker Candy factory at 2737 Tillar St., just north of the West Seventh and Foundry districts. The Magnolia location will remain open while the new location is under construction.
Fort Brewery — owned by Will Churchill and Corrie Watson, the twin great-grandchildren of iconic Fort Worth car dealer Frank Kent — has been on Magnolia Avenue since 2018. According to a news release, the new location will allow Fort Brewery & Pizza to increase beer production, offer a larger seating area, and have dedicated parking.
At 25,000 square feet, the new location will feature a "COVID-inspired" design by Fort Worth-based firm Rogue Architects, Will Churchill said in a statement. A 3,500-square-foot outdoor patio will feature a retractable roof and games. Private outdoor cabanas will also be available for rent.
Inside, guests can watch sports on multiple TVs and observe the brewing process through large windows. The space will also have a large screen projector for movies and a stage that can be assembled for concerts.
Murals by Fort Worth artists will also be showcased throughout the space.
On the menu, guests can expect an expanded selection of beer and wine, along with seasonal rotations, seltzers, and slushy seltzers. Wine will be handpicked by the sommelier from Cadillac Wines, another concept by the Churchills.
The grand opening is scheduled for April 2021.
