Melt Ice Creams made it on Yelp’s ‘Top 25 Texas Ice Creams’ list just in time for National Ice Cream Day — something you might want to prep your gut for on Sunday, July 17 — an essential holiday during the record-breaking summer heat wave.
The ice creamery, which originally opened off of Rosedale Avenue in the Near Southside, recently celebrated its eighth birthday in April and has expanded to two locations in the Fort, one in Dallas’ Bishop Arts District, and a shopping cart in the Sundance Plaza. We will say 23 seems a little low to our totally biased perspective, but we also don’t want the secret that is Fort Worth and all of our phenomenal small businesses to get out of the bag.
Other than Melt making it to 23, otherNorth Texas favorites, such as Botolino Gelato Artigianale, Pure Milk and Honey, and Sugar Pine Creamery, also made short list. Congratulations to our other Texas comrades for their ‘cool’ achievement.
