Meow Wolf
Meow Wolf, an arts and entertainment company known for its twisted psychedelic art installments nationwide, just released a list of local food and hospitality vendors for its fourth installation site in Grapevine.
All of the vendors on Meow Wolf’s list are from Texas with most of them hailing from the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. These vendors were selected for their creativity, impact on their communities, and their ability to not just feed visitors, but contribute to the kaleidoscopic experience Meow Wolf is known for.
“Our cafe is an extension of the immersive art world that is Meow Wolf Grapevine,” says Mandy Cooper, Director of Operations for Meow Wolf Grapevine. “As a certified B-Corporation, our goal is to provide [an] economic opportunity that supports local, women, and minority-owned small businesses. We have partnered with more than 15 local food and beverage artists to bring their flavors to Meow Wolf Grapevine. If you taste something you like, you can visit and support these businesses right here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.”
Most of the vendors on this list will have products for sale in Meow Wolf’s new café and retail store located just inside the entrance to its new North Texas location, set to open this summer at Grapevine Mills.
All of the vendors on this newly announced line-up will offer patrons a chance to taste and experience flavors and cultures unique to the Metroplex.
“Meow Wolf and Hive Bakery are a match made in Heaven as we share a fantastical dream of bringing immersive art to the public through sight, smell, touch, taste, and sound,” says Haley Popp, owner of Hive Bakery. “We hope to tantalize your taste buds as your mind runs wild during this one-of-a-kind, unforgettable experience.”
Visitors will see creative echoes of Meow Wolf’s artists in these products, according to a release. For example, Peaberry Coffee currently features Meow Wolf artist and Dallas local Will Heron on its Kiestwood Iced Coffee cans. From the sustainable plant-based jerky of All Y’all’s Food to the futuristic ice cream science of Buzzed Bull Creamery to the authentic baked bites of Del Campo Empanadas, visitors can sample a full menu of refreshments that are Texas-centric.
Last year, Meow Wolf announced two new portals opening in Texas: one in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area (Grapevine) to open in 2023 and one in Houston in 2024. Meow Wolf plans to employ over 150 workers at its Grapevine site, including positions currently open at its cafe and retail store.
