Headed to new Left Bank shops in Fort Worth by the end of the year is MidiCi, a spot renowned for Neapolitan-style pizza baked in two minutes. The pies are customizable with 20 combinations and then fired in a signature wood-fired, gold-tiled oven. The menu offers 15 specialty pizzas including a shrimp scampi pizza. But aside from pizza, MidiCi's locations are well-known for the olive trees sprouting out of the ceiling in the dining room.

After much anticipation Mr. Gatti's, known for its doughy pies and the kid-friendly arcade, finally returned to Fort Worth. Hailing from Stephenville, Mr. Gatti's first opened its doors as The Pizza Place in 1964. It offers “build-your-own” pizza, which has a gluten-free crust option, and specialty items including the Pig Pie — a pizza with bacon, ham, jalapenos and an over-easy egg.
