The Biscuit Bar
The Fort Worth Stockyards' newest eatery in Mule Alley is kicking things off on a high note.
The Biscuit Bar — a fast-casual Southern eatery specializing in biscuit sandwiches and tater tots — will open Wednesday, with a grand opening celebration planned for Friday and Saturday, featuring live music by Tommy Luke, Squeezebox Bandits, Trees Marie, and Alex Bellin. The event will also include drink specials and a Lucchese Boot giveaway.
“We are so excited to welcome this bright, innovative example of a true Southern restaurant to Mule Alley," said Jessica Miller Essl, co-president of M2G Ventures, the retail partner of Mule Alley. "Homemade biscuits, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere are going to attract people from all of the city. Whether you’re a mom shopping at MB Mercantile or a fan leaving the rodeo arena for a late-night snack, this will be one of those places you have to stop by on your trip to the Stockyards."
Other Mule Alley tenants are joining the celebration as well, with restaurants like Provender Hall and Cowtown Winery offering specials Friday and Saturday. According to a news release, both establishments will offer expanded patio seating, and groups are limited to 10 people or less.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mule Alley will be closed to vehicle traffic flow, and outdoor seating will be spaced 8 feet apart. Guests are required to wear masks until seated inside The Biscuit Bar. Outside, guests may take off their masks, so long as they're spaced more than 8 feet apart.
