COVID-19 can't stop The Biscuit Bar from opening in Arlington on Wednesday — at least, for takeout and delivery.
Located at 1707 N. Collins St. in Arlington's Champions Park, the Southern eatery will begin serving biscuit sandwiches, dressed-up tater tots, and batch cocktails, available for pickup through The Biscuit Bar's app or delivery through DoorDash.
Had it not been for COVID-19, customers would have been able to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant's 3,024-square-foot space, which sports a 2-story covered patio and views of AT&T Stadium.
"It is not easy being a small business owner these days, but we are grateful for our customers, and we will make it through this together," co-owner Janie Burkett said in a statement. "Tarrant County — we are ready to serve you some comfort food."
This is The Biscuit Bar's fourth location, with others located in Plano and Dallas. Its Fort Worth Stockyards location is still slated to open this summer.
